Richard,

Q4 numbers will not be released till the middle of February, probably the week of the 15th. The numbers will reflect a 3 to 4 cent loss, at the very most, IMHO. I expect expenses to have been further reduced (by over 20%) while margins show continued improvement on otherwise flat to lower revenues. The bulk of sales may still be made up of 3rd party product, a continuance of paper deferrals, and a balance of higher margin ALTS product/services.

I assume management decided to defer the payment of $450,000 due Llyods into Q1/99, therefore taking that burden off of Q4/98 figures.

I see about $2.75 million in gross revs with $1.50 million in gross profit and about $1.8 million in operating expense -- leaving a net loss of about $300,000.

How quickly they get to recognize the $500,000 Q4 BNFL deal will be a factor. I've assumed they can only recognize a 1/4th of it, and only 1/28th of the SDRC deal in my "very" rough figures.

They had $2.05 million in cash & cash equivs at Q3 end. I figure they will have about $1.75 million of that -- unless a disproportionate amount of the recognized gross revs are just paper, where then the actual cash on hand may prove far thinner...

The upside is that advance orders for EB may start by the end of January. A merger with a biz partner(or the like), however, might change the whole outlook.

NOTE: These numbers are a complete and total estimates on my part only and should not, in any manner, be considered actual and/or reliable.
