Hi charred, I'm glad you brought that up about the drill holes 'cause I wondered the same thing, but not being a geologist, thought it would be better for someone with more knowledge than mine to answer that question. I've tried to learn as much as possible about geology, to help when I'm evaluating a stock, but don't pretend to have your knowledge and expertise. It just seemed to me that common logic and the smattering of knowledge that I do have, would lead them to zero in on the most prospective target. I thought the holes were scattered all over hell's half acre and really wondered why? Seemed like they used a scatter gun approach, throw them all over the place and hope that something stuck, or looking for the glory hole the first time out. Well there's one comforting thought, and that is if they DO decide to take another crack at it and fail again, they probably will give it up, and then someone like Barrick or another major may be able to assess the situation and do a more organized, intelligent, and systematic drill program. I still think the drill results show promise and weren't all that bad, as some seem to think.

Off Topic:

I think there probably will be a play on PFG in February sometime, for all the reasons I cited on the thread(Got a bet riding on it with Rick Tjepkema for a Chimay Gold, best beer in the world). I agree, that if Barrick pulls out the stock price will suffer initially, but there is some upside as well, with PFG getting back 100% of the property. One fly in the ointment is, if Barrick wanted to, they could sit on it until 2000 'cause they have already expended the money, and then some, and fulfilled that part of the agreement and are under no obligation to make a decision right now. I really don't think they would do that though, not their style. They do have over 100 million ounces of silver, as well as the gold, which amount seems to fluctuate, depending on who you believe, and how much has never been reported.

Cheers

Shirley
