DBCC...News from thestreet.com Heaping Helping of IPOs The recent run in Internet stock prices sent a flood of companies back to the markets, including Ticketmaster ( (Nasdaq:TMCS - news) ) , Xoom.com, AboveNet Communications, audiohighway.com and uBid ( (Nasdaq:UBID - news) ). Those that didn't already have initial filings with the SEC decided it was as good a time as any to start the IPO process. And the floodgates will likely open wide with the start of the new year. Scudder Kemper's Stuart says one of the hot IPOs coming up in the new year is PC Order. Another IPO on the way is the joint venture of CBS ( (NYSE:CBS - news) ) and Data Broadcasting ( (Nasdaq:DBCC - news) ), Marketwatch.com, expected in late January. Shares of DBCC, in anticipation of the IPO, have more than doubled in the past two weeks. Brines, the Phoenix fund manager, says that "1999 is going to be an exciting year." He adds that "1998 saw the stock prices rise in anticipation, as '99 will be a year of proving business models. If they prove that they can deliver revenues and eventually earnings, those stocks will continue to run." fnews.yahoo.com

[GEND] "I held GEND(purchased at 6 5/32) overnight because she is preparing herself for the secondary spike..Note on the chart, it has not happened yet...Also today, GEND did a 1,2,3,4.... 3 lower lows in a row...It seems that when an internet stock does a 1,2,3,4, in conjunction with a hit from our new indicator, it is a flashing sign to buy and prepare for the spike..I could have taken home almost a point today on GERD, but feel there is more upside..When you look at a company with projected earnings of 65 cents a share in 1999 and 1.30 in the year 2000, a share price of 7.00 is quite reasonable.. What other internet stock can boast a 10 PE...."
