I think you have it right Mike - but I am no expert. The catch here is that is will almost surely go back to 10 as the only thing that made it rise in the first place was the dividend that pays tomorrow at close.

I'm no expert, but this is the way I read the 1/4/98 press release.
Shareholders at the close of 1/6/98 will receive a 3 for 1 dividend in restricted shares. Now, later in the release it states that the shares become active for any shareholder that has held the shares for a period of 1 year! Personally, I think a lot of buyers are going to realize tonight, when they are doing their homework, that they are holding an overpriced stock paying a dividend that isn't valid until the shares have been held for over a year. I agree w/ you, this is destined to fall hard. Hope I didn't add to the confusion.
