Mark, LUcy,NT and Fujitsu, are all backbone telecom DWDM companies. I do not know of any of these companies doing MetroDWDM for the cable companies. NT would be the most likely, since they have a strong data presence with BAY,and cable modems with LANcity. They also acquired Cambrian recently, a very strong DWDM player, about the same size, and experience of HLIT(300 employees).
I don't think that Allen will try to swallow UMG,but you never know,it is too big a fish right now. I am expecting MSFT to gobble up someone like UMG,not Allen.
I just sold the last of my NT holdings today with the rally at 55,not sure if I should have held on longer, but about an 80-90% return over the last 12 months(that is just a horrible return as compared with the Internut stocks). I am dissapointed now with less than a 500% return due to the internut sector. I cannot understand why companies do not double every other week.
