Lynn,

The priciples of options are fairly simple. Using them effectively takes alot of time and training. They can really help your bottom line if tightly managed with strategies that are well thought out.

Start here for some basic training: cboe.com

You can then read zillions of books (and opinions) on the subject.

Lynn, I started trading options last year. I did much better than I should have. Read posts by Judy on the MDA thread. But, THE best book on options is McMillan's free book from Omega.Call Omega at 305.485.7000. It's a great book. After that, go to the bookstore. But this may ge enough.
