Neeraj,

I also have never heard that TDMA requires
more towers than CDMA. I am aware that 1900
Mghz. (PCS) requires far more towers than 800
Mghz (the original, most coveted spectrum, which
Nextel has more of than anyone). Also, Nextel
got a very cost efficient deal on thousands of
towers from MOT, which were pre-existing, and
only had to be modified to digital (TDMA-IDEN).
PCS (FON) must build out every tower from scratch!
