Jorge, I agree with you. AOL down from consolidation and fatigue after an exhausting run up. Some profit taking for those that bought at 75 and are getting worried abut El presidente getting his "hair" clipped by Congress, gg: the economy and all the world as we know it will tank when we loose Billy's economic clairvoyance and " we are doing it for the children, the women and the elderly etc. " song.

There is some manipulation, definitely.Today around 2 or 3 PM I think it was, all trades went off like a clock at 147.7 FOR AN INTERMINABLE period of time. Now you and I know you are not going to find that m any buyers at the same price all at one time. What are you suppose to call it? A conspiracy of buyers and sellers to buy and sell at the same price? I smell manipulation.
Well so be it. It's been going on for >100 years and it ain't going to stop now.
Point is as you say that when AOL explodes again these MMs are not going to be able to hold it down: whether it's this Friday or Mon the 20th: " your time is up " and off we go 20 points.

Meanwhile I am looking to add at 143 - 146. On a bad day ( thunderings of doom from the White House Attorneys etc. ) I may get some at the previous low of 138.
What a wonderful world,

TA

Hector...I don't think TelSave had anything to do with AOL's small decline today...I think it's just one of those "Consolidation" things.

I was watching AOL closely, about a year ago, when all the other internet stocks seemed to go up by leaps and bounds, except for AOL...AOL just seemed to be stuck in a range...I couldn't understand why so I sold the few shares I bought to "chase" some of the others.

Wouldn't you know it..Within a few days AOL took off to the upside, 20 points in nothing flat...Of course, I kicked myself for selling too soon...I then waited for a pullback and bought in heavy and am glad I did.

My point here is sometimes a more solid company (AOL is THE MOST SOLID COMPANY in the Internet sector) will take some time now and again to consolidate even when some of the more speculative companies seem to keep going up...It doesn't mean anything negative at all.

Another note: Today's volume wasn't very heavy..More indication of consolidation.....I would look for AOL to move on up in the near future.

Regards, George
