A year later, after total economic devistation and the price of gold at $10,000, the XAU at 2000... due to the Y2K problem, "Joe" gets a call from his accountant...
Accountant sez...Joe, I have some good news and some bad news....
Good news is you are a multi-millionaire....Gold has gone through the roof...
Joe sez...what's the bad news?
Accountant sez....The Y2K problem wiped out any record of you ever owning a gold fund and the Mutual Fund company went broke...
