Expedia reports record sales Microsoft Corp.'s (MSFT) travel e-tailer Expedia reported sales of $250 million for 1998, including a record $8.5 million worth of business during the week after Thanksgiving. The company said 1998's sales were 150 percent above 1997. A majority of the business was selling airline tickets, product manager Suzi LeVine told CBS.MarketWatch.com. She also said Expedia's customer service representatives have been busy the past two weeks helping customers whose travel plans have been disrupted by bad weather.
