i'm in at $2, so this current mania hasn't been too damaging.

i owned some txn puts at $3, saw them go to $1, sold at $2 3/8 or so and them watched them go to $30.

just depends on how you play the game.

anyway, still lots of time before perspiration day. i'm a longer term theme investor and don't think ike a trader. if i sold my cmb puts for 100% gain then i woulda missed out on 900%+.

other times, if i would have sold for a double i'd have saved a worthless expiration.

unfortunately, you never know which is which until after the fact.

lots of dry powder, so if these bowsers keep going up against all odds, i will be there to nab them...

pretty powerful rally today. i'm impressed. it means we either go quite a bit higher quickly or we've essentially put in a long term top. time will tell.

(1) In semi for 30 years
(2) DRAM has 18 month life.
(3) Seemed to be bullish until June 1999
