Oh please have mercy on us poor fools.

We lack direction.

Please guide us, oh wise one.

<<However the general level of hype on this thread is such that I feel compelled to keep pointing it out to all. Posts like winger 88 (or something like that) are totally irresponsible and need to be pointed out.>>

Don't confuse over enthusiasm with hype. This kind of posts comes with bells and whistles. You know it should be taken lightly. To me hype is when you start mixing hard cold facts and then subtly add believable but hard to prove facts. This is far more dangerous. No offence Waldo, but this is your Bid.com page I'm talking about. I'm still not over the mutual funds thing.

<<Furthermore I hope that the regulators are watching and that they will come down hard on guys like him soon.>>

My God! You really take those threads seriously, don't you? The best the regulators can do is having SI to add a "Caution! Don't believe everything you read!" disclaimer on every thread. Would save newbies some of their pennies. I know you like to consider yourself as the almighty protector of the naive investor and that SI is your battle ground. But believe me, there are better ways to boost a stock price then throwing false numbers on a thread. Ask the Nasdaq MM for some of there tricks. Ask the penny stock promoters of the VSE.
