In a way, the PIII will be a "saviour" for Intel, but not to the same degree the K7 will be for AMD. PIII will enable Intel to better differentiate between the low-end and midrange processors.

You have to agree with me that there is a thin line right now separating the Celeron and PII. PIII will allow Intel, and AMD, to better segment their processors.
