I don't think the MMs know more than we do. Someone said it on this thread before: 1. The MMs are in it for themselves, to make money on the trades 2. The MMs will manipulate their bid/ask depending on supply/demand in order to maximize trading volume and therefore their own commissions 3. If there's no supply, the ask goes up in order to encourage the growth of supply from reluctant sellers; if there's great supply, the ask goes down in order to balance demand 4. If there's no demand, the bid goes down in order to create demand; if there's great demand, the bid goes up in order to balance supply 5. Get rid of your paranoia and remember #2.
