Hi Dipy,

I was listening to a local radio station. The station was talking
about the 15th and 19th amendments. Thank goodness Congress did
not listen to what the majority of Americans had to say about these
two issues.

Well, you are an the right track. The people said little more than "get this off my tube" when they asked for his resignation! And based on that, they were and are fickle. But those Polls show they think little of him as a person. I insist, they really won't care if he is removed. I truly believe that- seems you don't. Ok, fine!

<<<<<The people never said that they were so outraged with Clinton that they insisted on his resignation.>>>>>
I think you are correct. The people in general were disgusted but are more inclined to quietly forgive than to carry out a boastful hatred.
There must be a conflict in the minds of people until they decide the path they take. Hatred or forgiveness.
My path is forgiveness but don't do it again.
