Dear Noname
What a jerk you are! Why are you giving Jbeaul all that hassle? Have you forgotten that these threads are for everyone to post their ideas and thoughts? I totally agree with him that the chance of getting infected with a virus is slim to none. I know dozens of people who have had a computer for years and have never been infected.
I know a few though that thought they had one but didn't. He's right about people thinking virus whenever their computer acts up.
As for your friend Fridrik, his business depends on scaring people that a virus is going to attack them the next time they turn on their computer unless they have his anti-virus product installed. And of course his anti-virus program will detect more than a competitors will. (they all claim that)
I'm with Jbeaul, I don't run an anti-virus program either and I'm not the least bit afraid of being infected.
So Noname, go kiss up to that arrogant god of yours and leave us alone. By the way what kind of EXPERT are you? Your opening line said that one must be an EXPERT to post here!

Michael_Yarldey.I know from personnal experience that viruses do exist and that Administration are not patching them. One current back door trojan at http;//www.cultdeadcow.com fix or patch is at ISS security site, but very few administration duds use it or even know about it.Many crackers have a hoist via telnet as the industry professionals ie administrators and tech think they know it all.
