This isn't Las Vegas

That's certainly correct William. Las Vegas is much more rational and run by a far better class of people. -ng-

Oh comon, Amazon all by itself trades enough dollar volume in one day to equal the entire annual "take" of every casino combined in Las Vegas.

"Nasdaq, the casino for the next 100 years."

Greenspan is certainly in a pickle. For the first time in US history, people have more equity in the stock market than they have in their homes. He knows he has to do something to stop the irrational exhuberance, but he also knows that if he did the right thing and raised interest rates, there literally would be tens of thousands of instantly-poor investors hunting him down. Not an enviable position to be in.

But he got himself into this mess. Cutting rates with 15 minutes left to go before monthly expirations? The market has been on a rocketship ride ever since. He'll go down in history as the scapegoat, you can trust me on that.

Your kidding!
We're playing in the largest Casino in the world.
If you don't believe me on that! I can show you some swamp land that I own in Florida. Only for you. Will I, discount the price.
Don't trust me on that.
