Gordon, concerning gaming (gambling) stocks, I would be interested in a general discussion of this issue. Before David set up this board and created a direction, I had decided for myself that the gaming sector could very well be the next active area of the market. This is purely a gut feeling and hunch, but those feelings are based on personal experiences gained playing on several online gambling sites. I downloaded and tried several of the gaming software and read a lot about 10 or 12 companies and to make a long story short, I ended up taking positions in SNMM because they seem to be most respected, legal & games work GLOW I don't remember why GGNC because they are run by a chinese ceo and are targeting china and seem to be very visible within the sector WINR because they process betting money for many sites and could get bigger than any one of the gaming companies. I took those positions without correct DD, but I am new to investing and did the best I could at the time. The ABSOLUTELY BEST software was created by Cryptologic in Canada CRY but I did not take a position in their stock because it was already $10. In hindsight, I wish I had, because they are a steady climber (up to 16.10 today). The trouble is, these companies are BB or Canadian. Did you have luck finding any others which meet David's specifications? This sector seems to promise quick and large profits (no brick or mortar), the games are fun and more real every month, you can already bet real money and until further notice from the government, I guess it will remain ok to gamble on off shore sites, and who and how can restrictions be enforced anyway. When the reported earnings of gaming (gambling) companies begin to appear (gambling is not seasonal like Christmas sales) and people discover how much fun it is to loose (or even win) money in a virtual casino, I think the sector could generate interest and lively fodder for the guys at CNBC etc. who thrive on subjects like this. It has all the glitter and appeal of Vegas, and it's digital and all about being on line. People will always gamble, and investors, as a group, naturally tend to be comfortable with the risks and rewards of taking a chance. Digital on-line gambling seems to be a natural for this personality type. Anyone see any basic logic to any of this. If so, suggestions on which companies and what might be the timing for this sector. Any other thoughts. Thanks for the sounding board. Barry
