Not a phone problem, nor a lack of subscribers. Motorola has shipped 25,000 phones and has orders for all of them; the problem is on the end of the distribution pipeline, and with customs in foreign countries. I've been told that European customers are eager for the phones and want them NOW, but that delivery is slow. Iridium is well aware of the problem and is working to resolve it. My phone works well, as I've said repeatedly...no technical problems. This is purely logistical and should be worked out. It had better be...soon.
