It could mark a double bottom on SAP if it does. You could be right, but I decided not to chance it. I went ahead and bought. I picked up more shares last fall and yesterdays purchase now has me where I want to be (# of shares)....I guess we'll see if the earnings shortfall was a one time "event" or endemic to the industry.

Personally, I think the buy area is around 25-28 -- ...

I will be surprised to see the stock dip under 30. We have already seen the pre-earnings release negatives. It will take a different type of negative event to compound any more downside movement.

I also believe competitors will follow SAP's upside or downside price movements over the long run.
