That is cold. Is that real, or wind chill factor? I am originally from Louisiana, and now live in Northern Virginia, I just can't imagine cold that severe.

-36? Where was that. It may be the coldest recorded temperature in the history of Illinois. I recall a warm and toasty -25 with -80 windchill in Rockford around Christmas time in 1983.

I went to the ISU SMSU basketball game here last night. The Redbirds put up a valiant fight but lost by 3. SMSU has a good team this year. There may have been 5 ISU fans in the crowd of over 6,000.
