Yes, the gold & yen carry make sense as long as gold & yen don't stay cheap...... However, buying silver & selling into rallies doesn't quite make as much sense to me, but maybe I'm missing something? In any case, we are now at 5.15 and heading higher, perhaps the price action is the most important point? On a different note, do you have any idea who is behind the 50,000 Dec 99 $390 gold calls? Would professional money be buying such extreme OTM calls? On the other hand, that is a lot of volume in esoteric OTM calls for retail investors to swallow..... Have a great day! THC
