Hi All: Now That my children are back in school and my cold is waning, I'm back on the beat. Here are my thoughts for today: We'll have a great booming opening. If any of you are sitting on a stock that's been stuck in the mud, today might be the day to sell into opening rally if you think it's time to move on. I'm still sitting on some DBCC and will probably sell at the open if I can meet or beat my buy price of 19 9/16. There is always the inevitable pullback between 10 and 10:30 am, during which I'll be rebuying DBCC and looking to enter a few of the following issues: ABOV: Upgraded yesterday. I posted this yesterday afternoon and it didn't move much. I would expect news of the upgrade to have gotten out by this morning. Not an overnight hold. TALK: They've entered into an agreement with AOL. This is a TMEX thread pick and has already popped a bit, will gap up this morning, so be patient and buy on the pullback. IBI: Intimate Brands (owns Victoria's Secret, among others) beat their numbers and is prepared to fly. AOL: Expensive (Trading about 147), but it dropped a bit yesterday in the face of a good news partnership with CBS. I expect a pop of about ten points today. Even if you buy 50 or 100 shares here, you'll likely make a profit with little risk.
