ESV- beautiful web site. They even post their rigs and current
locations and contracts. Merrill Lynch use to/still? have a ton
of it in their MAQRX value fund. Get it on a pullback today around
noon for LT hold.

UTI- old dog, doesn't get enough volume though. A buck below book.

UFAB
GIFI

Everybody likes FLC but they are in debt pretty good. Leveraged I
think the traders call it.

you don't want my picks for a one week to a 3 month hold ... but it is a Z and personal hold <ggg>

still bullish on T/A bottom feeding only

SME at 3/8

for a double ... very risky

2nd is FILE ... but this I am long on now will not trade it. A hold till it reaches 30, whenever that may be.
holding personal at 11 and 12
currently 12 3/8

Chat RON

In my post to Larry Jan 1 To: +Larry S. (18183 ) I noted 3 picks EMC for internet play - ATF for phone,Cable,TV - MRK for drug play.

EMC has gained 7 1/2 and the others have modest gains. ATF fund is no good for day trading due to volume. Howver the other two should provide some good trades IMHO.

Re: favorite stocks

My own longterm as opposed to my funny money portfolio is weighted towards companies that are in the business of building the data transmission backbone. So I own TCOMA, NXTL, QWST, T, WCOM, COMS etc, etc.

But if you want my current favorite in that area, it has to be NN.

The other two I'd put forward are -

SUNW - it's a gorilla

RDRT - maybe a day late given its action today, but as the dead rise in the DD sector, RDRT will continue to lead the way. Perhaps also HTCH, but less confident here.

Ron: CPU - Comp USA up over 2 points today. Could be the start of a major move.
