intel has announced a new flash memory 4 and 8mb that works in everything imaginable. it is called intel circle R strataflash.
does it use rambus technology?

400mhz celeron pc's just hit the stores. don't know about main memory but supposed to have 4mb rdram in graphics.

Perhaps more than you think! Did you happen to catch the interview with the CEO of LAM this morning? I wish I could quote verbatim, but Mark Haines asked him about his being bullish on semi's, pointing out excess "capacity".......Mr. Bagley pointed out that while it was true there was plenty of capacity for current DRAM, he said that new technology will be making the old DRAM chips eventually obsolete and that the capacity for the "new technology" is just getting started. He saw absolutely no reason to think there would be less demand for semi's on a relative basis going forward.
