I think that non news of the type we had yesterday, either good or bad, provides cover for movement in or out of a stock. My only problem is I don't know if an institutional buyer cares about such things.

Anyway, I agree with you that some institutional buying could have occurred and that the, "news", actually was not the reason for the move. But as Robert S pointed out all except one Murphy mentioned stock went up.
