I thought it meant that the company could not openly talk about the company's releases, changes, and thoughts, but with that release yesterday, I am not sure anymore. Daytrader, do you know what it means?

David,

"what does the 'quiet period' term mean?"

Quiet period means different things in different situations. In the case of INSP or any other IPO, an analyst can not initiate coverage within the first 30 days or during the quiet period. Of course the hope with any IPO is that after the quiet period the main underwriter will issue a glowing report thereby causing an increase in demand.

Regards
Dave
