Singapore's playing for keeps. No doubt.

That's the first I've heard of the hedge funds though.

Also appears that the Lion City has established what could turn-out to be a very lucrative bond market. Asian bonds have been mentioned favorably in quite a few reports lately.

Speaking of hedge funds, the HKMA's Joseph Yam warned recently that conditions could be right soon for another attack by the speculators.

There was something else too about the Sg v. HK rivalry yesterday....

It just said that the major financial initiatives taken by Singapore are operational, whereas any measures announced by Hong Kong are still in the planning stage.
