Charles,

You are probably correct to expect continuing low prices for oil.

The other day I heard an analyst on CNBC discussing how many "stripper" wells in the US are being capped, probably for good. Stripper wells are those wells that produce approx 10 to 100 barrels a day. Once capped, apparently restarting their production would require substantially higher oil prices, if then.

So apparently these wells account for some 1.7 million barrels of daily oil production here in the US. Cap them and we increase our dependence even more on foreign oil while at the same time reducing global oil production by 1.7 million barrels a day.

Too bad we can't the gov't to support a couple of processors that could process 500 barrels a day each of waste oil into diesel fuel.

Regards,

Ron
