Clark "We are really literally making the real news here in foruums like this" Well we aren't making the news but we are certainly dissecting it. To such an extent that when you read or hear the news in the traditional media you realise that you're usually only hearing one side of the story - IMO the attack on Iraq was a classic example of this. And yet..................I think those of us who post on these threads are a small minority, many of a contrarian view - and yes, we may not know many that support the President, but the polls are undoubtedly right. And, if we believe in democracy, or at least if we listen to the people, we should respect the view that we're witnessing the biggest exercise in political posturing in an aeon. 'Sham, humbug', the people are saying. IMO 'the great unwashed' are a lot more savvy that we like to grant. I think their gut instinct about this thing shows maturrity - not a popular view on these forums, I should add. Regards, E
