I prefer public ridicule. My purpose, when I flame someone, is to point out to everyone that my antagonist is a bonehead or an Evil Bastard. I like the group agreement.

Now, this means that one must:

A) choose the target with care. Most people don't need to be flamed, many times I may disagree with someone, I don't think that is necessarily a reason to flame. A few people really need it. They are pompous, arrogant, and just plain mean and nasty. Or, they violate the law, and the Rules of SI. Those are the ones that Mr. Mighty Chicken goes after.

B) flame with style. This is not simple. Style is the key. Simple gutter language is not style. You find the scab, and you pick it...with style. My favorite flames are those where the flamee doesn't really get the fact that he is being flamed at first, but everyone else does.

Now don't PM me, dude.

BAWK! :>

Au contraire, mon frere.
I got this guy suspended permanently for a PM that he sent to me. He did it as an imposter SI Admin (BOB) and it was beyond vile.

If you want to insult someone and not get suspended, just PM them. SI doesn't care about what you say in PM's.
