Roger,

For some reason I feel like Bill Clinton for you, for I can feel your pain! Still very bullish on the market and I will wait to join you!

Congratulations with no lack of guts for the new year, Roger!

With a price of 407 pre-split, you caught it above what just a few weeks ago seemed an insane projection. I am extremely tempted myself - the descent will be messy and a small position at the top would give us a good ride down. Maybe 150 is the price to aim for, as Hank suggests?

Roger, I shorted AMZN at $138 myself. So much for taking my own advise!

I had no problem getting shares. Usually that is a bad sign.

I just hope I didn't put a gun to my head with this short!

You would think that after 33 years of experience you would learn
not to make stupid mistakes? Having guts without a brain is very
dangerous in this market. All I can say good luck!

Roger,
Is that old standby ZONA still on your screen?

AMZN-FWIW I shorted AMZN while I was on vacation last week and covered same day making back some of the money I lost earlier. AMZN has now surpassed the $400 price target (split adjusted) that seemed so ridiculous a month ago. At 21 billion and counting it can't go up forever. Eventually someone will tell the emperor he has no clothes. I am waiting for any weakness before I pounce again, but it may come tomorrow.

Best,

Timoteo

Oh no. But if you are in the profits one time, take that out.

(I adopted Mama Bear's advise: buy the dips ..., even the smaller ones but it worked!)

Only to short the overshooting crap. The choice was so big recently that I didn't know what to take first. AAGP, GIII or IMAL or RMII or then IFLY (thats a total turd)... not the big ones, pls.

You remember the december day I found a yhoo bottom at 185 (!) ? I din't buy that in full but I went buying in the sector....

Take care. In the meantime I stick with my $550/$700 estimate for AMZN (which is $183/$233 adjusted).

C.
