Shalom, I am glad you feel that way. I hope that it inspires you greatly. the only part I had a problem with the "obedience" part. But I am sure that you could have guessed that:-) To Steve, et al, I have not gotten back to you on our conversation for a couple of reasons. The first and lessor reason, is that I don't have the time right now, to answer the double digit questions posed towards me. I do appreciate the interest in the conversation though:-) The second part is more difficult. I am finding it increasingly harder to engage in this my philosophy vs. yours, coversation, without pointing out the aspects of Christianity that I disagree with and why. It is not now, or never was, my intention to come on to a predominately christian thread and disparage other people's beliefs. I am not comfortable doing that, and feel that it serves little purpose. It is even more dificult, because I enjoy and like talking to many of you. Therefore, trying to point out what I believe are inconsistencies in what you believe is difficult, and uncomfortable. In addition, it is fruitless to some extent, because no one will change their position or thought process anyway. Essentially, it all boils to this. to some extent, you believe that there are aspects that shouldn't be questioned and that you must have faith. In essence, my beliefs are more rooted in the inner self. We both think we are right, and both fail to see the logic of the other view point. Given that, we can agree to disagree with mutual respect. I will still always be happy to answer any questions regarding what I believe, but really dont want to debate why I have some philosophical problems with what you believe. Sincerely, Mark
