McMannis - Re: "Look at those Bollinger bands contracting. You know what that means, don't you Paul? "

I'd guess it would mean that the Bollinger Band starts playing in a "higher pitch".

Jim,

Re: "Look at those Bollinger bands contracting. You know what that means ..."

Does this mean that there will be a "Bollinger Movement" taken on AMD ??
You are "hilarious", Jim ... I've been telling you that the charts show
a classic AMD "toilet bowl" formation, now you tell me that the Bollinger
bands are going to take a "craps" on AMD. <ggg>

Make It So,
Yousef

Hey Mc,

Not a bad non-applet TA website you posted yesterday, but you may like this one even better. It gives you alot more control on setting your variables.

cbs.marketwatch.com

Personally, I think we're gonna rock and roll on this one late next week after earnings. The market has rewarded AMD with a double in the last 3 months and now it seems that everybody is just waiting for the wheel to stop spinning to see if the ball lands on red or black. If earnings are great and management doesn't blow the conference call, I think further rewards may in order. I'm not smart enough to know which way it's gonna go, but I'm looking for her to pop or drop, and have my January puts and calls in place to hopefully profit from just such a movement.

Care to guess the market's reaction to an earnings of 30 or 40 cents, should they report such a number?
