I agree with your www analysis. I'd been watching Intimate Brands (IBI) for awhile because of good revenues and growth (I was looking for an alternative retailer to The Gap). Lo and behold, they come out with a great looking web site on which the hubby/boyfriend can purchase the little lady some unmentionables without actually going into a Victoria Secret store. Consistent with your reasoning, as soon as the web site went up in Dec., I bought the stock. (Today they reported good numbers and expect to beat previous estimates). Yup, and shipping on a lacy bra is a lot less than gypsum board or a snoblower. So why is HD getting into e-commerce??????
