NTRIGUE was a great product. It was superior to the Tektronix and NCD competition (though they might sincerely feel otherwise).

However when Citrix and Microsoft did their exclusive deal, the future of NTRIGUE as an independent product was sealed. Insignia did the best thing it could - sold the technology to Citrix, for $17 mil, and concentrated on the virtual machine core competency which they do so well.

Meanwhile, Tektronix has abandoned WinDD, and NCD has been licensing NTRIGUE from Citrix for WinCenter. Ironic. However I don't see NCD persisting with it for long - they are a terminal company and with the Windows Based Terminals they are building they do not need anything above standard MS Windows Terminal Server.

Go INSGY!

PS - If I am right in who the Sharewatcher from Ireland is, Apple is still using some of the code you wrote while at Insignia.

I've been holding since at '96 I won't be selling any time soon. Thanks for your positive spin. I don't know that we'll see $40 but I don't know that we won't either. Calvin

Zed and Calvin, Insignia lovers and haters!
I have just come off the phone to their new Investor
Relations Company Executive at Financial Relations Board Inc
namely...Reid Cox!
Several questions were addressed concerning this new technology
and the discussion endorsed my view that INSGY have done
something very special and exclusive and are now a strategic
partner in the Marketing objectives of SUN/Java and a desireable
attribute in other manufacturers armoury such as HP-Java or
IBM-RiscJava but by no means restricted as their product applies
critically to any Electronics manufacturer/supplier who programs
processes/applications/or,functionality onto a chip, and who
most importantly require to modify their programs in a chip at
will and remotely.
Staggering,staggering,staggering.
Will come close to 1999's Software system of the YEAR.
I fully expect a stream of order "wins" from now to March and
beyond and it is reasonable to assume revenue stream starting
second quarter, their BETA sites having been at work for the
last couple of months.
Very excited by it all!
Enjoy the ride!!
The Irish Insigmatur!!
