Jens, either the company can earn enough to pay debt (all companies have debt) or it should consider selling its ticker to someone that wants a public company which can produce earnings. Even suggesting a trial balloon of a reverse split is stock trashing ARET. A REVERSE SPLIT NEVER NEVER WORKS, the company loses and shareholders lose, deal with it!!!!!!

Company Press Release
Oasis Resorts International Inc. Plans Commercial and Residential Development
WENDOVER, Nev.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 6, 1999--Oasis Resorts International
Inc. (OTC BB:OAIS) Wednesday announced that it is planning to purchase 80 additional
acres in Oasis, Nevada as part of a joint development of 217 residential units and
additional commercial facilities for employees of its planned resort hotel, casino and golf
course, and for current employees of businesses in Wendover.

According to the company there is currently a shortage of over 700 residential units in the
Wendover-Oasis, Nevada area.

According to the company, it and Cottonwood Development are discussing with hotel and
casino employers in Wendover the immediate need for homes for Wendover employees.

According to Wendover City figures, the city's businesses, hotels and casinos currently
employ over 2,000, of whom approximately 40 percent live in surrounding towns requiring
employees to expend up to three hours each day driving to and from work.

The company said its proposed joint venture with Cottonwood Development will purchase
the land and subdivide it into 217 lots, most of which it hopes to market for approximately
$25,000 per lot.

The company also plans to hold some of the lots to construct both custom and tract homes
with an approximate size of 2,300 to 1,500 sq. ft., which will be sold in the range of
$120,000 to $170,000 per home. The company said construction of the homes could begin
as early as May of this year subject to completion of its current negotiations with
Wendover-area employers and sources of construction financing.

Walt Sanders, president of the company, said in preliminary discussions with some of the
Wendover business owners, ''we have proposed that they provide guarantees for the
short-term construction costs as well as the mortgage financing for each of their
employees, as potential homeowners. However, these are just preliminary discussions and
we are also pursuing conventional construction financing too.''

Oasis Resorts International Inc. is a hospitality and gaming company with
development-stage and operational properties located in the U.S. and North Africa, with
plans to expand into the Caribbean and to Asia during fiscal 1999.

I say the 20MM @ 6 cent will be easier than 200MM @ 0.6 cent.

But Jens, there is an old saying "equal it comes loose". It makes no difference as although the value looks higher, it is the same because we are now looking at 1/10!

As I said in an earlier post a reverse split for most stocks is the death knell.

You told me to get off the banking problem. Well, that is the problem. ARET is insolvent!!!

If they reverse at this stage, we are aboard a sinking ship.

They must produce!!! That is the only way to get out of the current predicament. But they can't produce because they have no money to pay the trades. Nobody will work for no pay. Nobody will sell supplies with no money in the bank.

I can't see how they can generate any revenue at this point. Tomahawk, although bailed out, will have the bonding problem because of the BK.

You asked what the options are. I don't know. I don't think ARET knows. Management has to do some fancy footwork to dig themselves out of this hole. They have to do it fast and a reverse is not the way to do it...that just makes the hole bigger. A loan? No. They probably won't find additional financing anywhere and even if they did they couldn't pay the interest. I have no answers.

We are all entitled to our opinion Jens....and this is mine. The bank problem is a major issue here. Reverse and we are finished.

Regards,
Helene

Jens why did you report me to SI when I was bringing up the reverse split issues? In this case it is not going to happen. There in no purpose until the company wants to get listed on the NASDAQ which would have to be qa minimum of $1 per share. When ARET hits about 10 cents with earnings then I would back a 10 for 1 reverse. Just relax pal, January is going to put some cash back in your pocket. I know you were loading up and HYPING ARET at 3 cents per share, if I were you I'd average down before the next run up.
