You miss the point entirely! AOL is the premier ISP just like YHOO is the premier portal and MSFT is the premier software maker and INTC is the premier chip maker. If you don't get my drift perhaps you're in over your head! If you are not short AOL what are you doing on this thread besides making a &%$ out of yourself?

believe me I do tech every day too, but I do realize the game now is not about technology, but about brand, about the relative position different companies sit on their development curves.

thinking MSFT can do anything if they just want to? guess you haven't heard about MSN...

thinking the 22 bucks a month AOL charge will drive everybody to the free services? then why did AOL added their last 1 million account in less than two months while Tritium is going nowhere?

dj my man you are a bit behind the curve... trust me on this, them marketing type sometimes can pull some neat tricks too.

Called marketing and why AOL renewed it's relationship with MSFT for the continued use of Internet Explorer as the default browser.
