Sex is not the issue. The lies and cover up were the issue. Whenever sex and a politician are used in the same sentence, the media goes into an immediate feeding frenzy. Once they smelled the blood in the water it is all over. The Dem's used that to successfully pull the light away from the actual issues. The president of the United States lied while giving a sworn statement. He used every means possible to delay the truth of that lie from coming out. When he was finally caught, he admitted it. And as I have said from the beginning. If he admitted to it in the beginning, this would never have become an issue. For those of you who want to tout the privacy issue, Once you become a politician you no longer have any privacy. Politicians should always be available for public scrutiny. Without, you have no checks and balances. They would be free to do anything they want. Can you show me where Clinton has done anything tangible? He had nothing to do with the state of the economy, regardless of what the dems want you to think. Maybe you think he's good for standing up to the congress and shutting down the govt? No, if you looked at that budget, Congress was only trying to get him to live up to what he had said in his campaigns. Or maybe you like how he handled the military? First he closes everything down, then has to back peddle and announces a sizable increase(although, I think that was just another attempt to save himself)? Or maybe how he has handled terrorism? Ever see wag the dog? Timing was too convenient. What ever happened to the comments about we need to take care of issues at home before we police the rest of the world?
