Please stop with the ''people wouldn't believe them so what
does it matter anyhow'' stuff (LOL). Although i
can't blame people for not believing release that claim
production is imminent or that there are xxx million estimated
ounces on company property, there would be no reason
not to believe a company release stating that it or some
other specifically named party has acquired and registered x million
shares since this is readily verifiable....
I'm thinking that it is necessary that any actual
reacquisition of stock be done quietly since any advance
fanfare implies a source of capital
which further implies a partner, producution, or some other
source which surely would drive the price up before they
had a chance to go into the market and complete the buy back.
