Hi Dana,
I can't and won't argue with what you have to say Re; MRVC and management.
If I were to sell now from a tax write-off point of view, it would take 33 years to benefit from tax write-off.
I have moved on and lately have recouped approx. 10% of the loss in MRVC.
In an attempt to defend myself, I take some offense to your remark
about my "unbridled optimism". I would use your own words to describe
your posts, in the past, here.
I am a big boy and your constructive criticism is well taken but "It's my money and I'll cry if I want too".

Having said this I really don't want this to escalate into a pissing contest. I could not resist responding to your reply in
a defensive manner considering your past postings of encouragement.
It's no sin in this business to be wrong...we just pay real money
for being wrong.
I have alot to learn to win 7 out of 10.

Good Luck,

John

Dana...It's true they only bought back 10,000+ shares on their million share buyback, but they did buy back $10 million face amount of notes at a cost of $5.3 million or about the same amount of money they would have spent on their 1 million share buyback. That purchase also reduced potential dilution of about 400,000 shares and saved them $500,000 per year in interest payments, it also allowed them to bank $4.7 million in profit to write off against their xyplex purchase. On that basis you cannot consider their buyback intentions virtually non-existent.

As far as their cash position as of now, they should have about $57 million cash or equivalent and $100 million in 3-5 year treasury notes that can be used to improve the business. The $90 million debt is not due for 4 1/2 years and at 5% interest per year it puts MRVC at a very good cash position(depending of course how they use it).

Noam says there are new and leading edge products coming this year, as a long term investor I am willing to give him this year to prove it.

Only time will tell.

Dana, I have no ax to grind with you or anyone else on this thread. Every person is entitled to his/her opinion. Based on your total dislike of this company and especially its management, and the fact that you apparently have no position in this company, I am curious as to why you waste your time posting here.

Dana,

A person's strength is not in putting down others. Have you ever heard of compassion and humility?

"I average 7 winners out of 10, no one is perfect pal. The difference between you and I
is that I move on. You, on the other hand constantly gripe and cry over spilled milk. I
was only trying to help you piece your life back together. The market is a man's place.
Deal with it or lose your savings."

I wish someone will treat you nicer when you are down someday. Off to my gym. Peace and good luck.
