Jan, YHOO will most likely rally into their 1/12 earnings report. Since I'm a trader I will be a seller when the pre-earnings run appears to run it's course. If you plan to hold long term YHOO is the strongest inet brand out there and will continue to move higher along with another great inet stock AOL.

My short term concern is that their stock could sell on the news even if they announce a split. I will buy back on 1/13 if their news is positively received though. If it does start running after earnings it will probably continue to run much higher short term. My .02

Yahoo has been a group laggard to some degree, and looks like it's gonna break out on good volume here. I'd just put the shares in a drawer.

They present at Morgan Stanley this afternoon, and earnings are next week.
