Not correct according to the rules of the settlement. For shares you bought in the relevant period and held through 03/14/97 the loss is calculated relative to the closing price on that day, 4 1/8.

The settlement will be a given proportion of your loss. The 55c a share figure is rather useless - I'd much rather hear an estimate in terms of percentage of loss. Any guesses?

And by the way, the overall size of the settlement is fixed, so filing a claim at this point does not affect Ancor negatively. The operative question is whether it'll be worth the notary's fees...
