Ordered my XPS 450 on Dec31, 1998<Smart move there>. Rep gave me the shipping date of 1/11/99. I went ahead and registered at the dell order watch site. Follow the whole process from order process to ship prep. Very cool. Just got an email from Dell this morning that my order is shipped. 5 days ahead. Very, very cool. Got myself a Dell credit card as well. I talked with the rep about the quarter. My man Patrick seemed smiling ear to ear and around the neck over the phone. Can't wait for the new 'puter.
