Well I to have heard for years how chips will take over sound and some video... I am lucky to know having been with computers for well all my life : ) that it was BS. That is till now, you can see how very quickly the chip set took the place of I/O cards... why? Because it saved money and time. same thing is now in place for sound it was not in place years ago (this was just stupid for people to say at the time). I will also let you know that I am NOT short this stock and have made very good money on it in the past so please don't do the his OUT to get CREAF BS. Also you can get sound cards for $10-30 $30 being the top line with all the SBL can do for most people Xing out the 4 speakers and EAX 3d sound. A3D IS in the $30 cards now... $80 for a3d 2.0 which is the top end. With prices like this and so MUCH CPU time not used in the next gen cpus I think its just not even a question at this point. Clue... Think about how long it took CREAF to get Sound on the PCI bus? Now ask your self was this hard to see? This Co. CAN'T see the future, its really that simple... this is NOT a LONG term hold.
