To anyone who is listening, here is how CY did today when compared to three of its domestic competitors:

ALSC 4 15/16 up 7/16, or 9.72%, volume-1,207,900

CY 8 7/8 up 1/16, or 0.71%, volume-909,600

IDTI 8 1/8 up 1 5/16, or 19.27%, volume-3,819,100

ISSI 3 7/8 up 15/32, or 13.76%, volume-594,000

Today, ADPT, in the semiconductor industry but not SRAMS, closed at 24 7/8, up 5 5/16, or 27.16%,on volume of 13,652,100. Last night, ADPT issued a press release the results would be above analyst expectations.

In addition, MU was up 3 3/4 to 63 3/8, on volume 10,448,100. Positive comments were made by Soundview Financial, and DRAM demand is increasing with expectations of higher pricing.

A common theme is applicable to both ADPT and MU-both companies are effectively executing there gameplans, something CY(and TJR) has not done.

Hi Larry,

I wrote you yesterday don't know where it went. Probably censored.

It's probably time for one of TJR's rah, rah, rah speeches about how he is going to increase shareholders "profitabilty".

I hate to be an I told you so but we all would be better off with DELL or CSCO. I don't have the share numbers for my side bet with Dan but I bet CY isn't looking too good right now. CSCO only closed at 103 5/8 today up 3 7/8 after splitting 3:2 awhile back making daily new highs. While CY languishes.

Maybe with luck someone will buy them out.

Al

all(-most) memory issues explode and CY remains flat - and the thread is dead. Wake up guys, if you have no good to tell, at least try to up the entertainment ante a little!
