With WOOD holding over 750,000 acres in the Amazon...

they should have a huge impact on the region and the world . In a good way !

More buying coming in , smart move if you want to beat the rush in the next two days . The site still may be up before Monday " the site should be up and running no later than Monday , January 11 , 1999 . Time will tell :-)

Btw , I'm wondering if there will be any brand names on the new site ? I couldn't get an answer out of the company , not that I really expected one anyway. But it was worth a shot (LOL)

Its cheaper to buy timber off the street. seller does not get full payment until Madera get full payment. That the way things are.

WOOD has mill capacity. Their neighbors do not. It would seem like a good business to acquire trees from others to process at favorable terms to meet your delivery commitments. You retain your inventory. You keep your mill producing. You meet your deliveries.

Kinda like having your cake and eating it too.
