This was posted over on the Yahoo thread and it looks like this company is doing everything that ACTV is planning on doing: morecom.com./mc_background.htm
I wonder if our patents will be of any use to us?

It looks like MoreCom is ready to launch. I guess they don't have the same problems we have.

Art replies: "I didn't see anything mentioned about time stamping. Actv's
patented tech has this. Streamed web pages are timed to a
particular spot(time) of the tv program, video, graphic's
display etc."

Cisco Partners With 30 Firms In Internet Licensing Deal (CSCO)
Newstraders - January 07, 1999 10:02
(NewsTraders.com)-- Cisco Systems (CSCO) today said it has formed a coalition with 30 companies to extend a "new world" of high-speed Internet services and products to the consumer market, according to a press release.

Cisco said its consumer strategy intends to create an opportunity for cable companies, telcos and Internet service providers, or ISPs, to generate additional revenue by offering broadband data, voice and video services.

The strategy also involves licensing its Internet technology to consumer electronic companies to jump-start a new category of imbedded devices that can plug into these new high-speed networks.

MCI WorldCom (WCOM), Sprint Corp. (FON) and Sony (SNE) are part of the coalition.

Cisco also announced that it and General Instrument (GIC) will work with ATT Corp. (T) to develop a seamless, end-to-end Internet Protocol (IP) solution that would allow the long distance company to offer a broad array of services over its fiber network now being deployed in conjunction with merger partner Tele-Communications Inc. (TCOMA).
