Let's take a look at the McClellan Summation index preceding the crash in 1987...

Now let's take a look at the McClellan Summation index today...

Unlike 1987 it is rising... Also, interest rates are lower, and worldwide capitalism is stronger today... Add to this the flood of retirement money pouring into the market, and the conclusion is that Risk/Reward favors a fully invested position at the present time...
