Hi Carole, Ron Schier and others have previously enquired about NAQ's plans to add MD to RTTrader and have been told that such is not in the cards. Can you please clarify one tiny detail for me, Carole?? In your response to Ron, you have made reference to Level II, not to MD. To me, Level II implies Market Depth for NASDAQ. But, MD implies Market Depth for the Canadian Exchanges. There's a huge difference between the complexity of the two. By chance, have the prior requests related to MD been interpreted by NAQ as requests for NASDAQ Level II ?? I can understand that it would be a very major undertaking to add NASDAQ Level II data to RTTrader. But, I do not personally require NASDAQ Level II, I just desperately want you to add Canadian MD and I suspect that's what Ron and the others have also been after. (We know that there are extra exchange fees for same and of course would be prepared to pay same.) Maybe I just underestimate the difficulty in adding another tab\program module (equivalent to the "Time of Sales" module) that could give real time MD on a selected Canadian stock. Or, is NAQ's refusal to commit to the addition of MD a function of your failure to appreciate its importance to Canadian traders? Or, is NAQ unable to add MD because of your current data supplier, Signal? It is my personal opinion that the single most significant deficiency in your very fine RTTrader product is the lack of Canadian MD data. I expect that there are countless Canadian Day Traders that avoid your product because you fail to make MD data available as an option. You leave us no choice. You force us to work with an inferior product!! But, in the meantime, that inferior product is improving !!!!!!! I'd be prepared to comment privately upon certain other enhancements for NAQ to consider for future versions of RTTrader (but only if NAQ is going to add Canadian MD near term, otherwise there's no point in wasting my time). I would not post such comments for public view as I do NOT wish to give a false negative impression of your product. I believe that REAL TIME TRADER is a one damn fine piece of work. It just needs a little bit of "tweaking" to be amongst the very best, that's all !! NAQ's recent commitment to add trendlines, etc. shows that NAQ is responsive to customer requests to improve its product. Can you kindly help us understand why it is that NAQ is not planning on making a MAJOR improvement to its RTTrader by adding Canadian MD?? Thanks in advance for your anticipated response.
